This week we are focusing on beautiful black powder rooms /small bathrooms

There is an understandable fear of painting a wall black let alone a whole room. How do you keep the space from looking like a black whole? I'm going to tell you how. To keep your black bathroom from becoming too dark, make sure you incorporate plenty of reflective surfaces.

Yes it's not rocket science, but it is all about the details. The details are what make any space beautiful. Even a black powder room. So here we go.

• A large mirror above the sink.

• High shine metals

• Accessories! The right amount of metal (chrome/ gold plated) accessories will bounce even more light around the space.

• A shelving unit will create not only creates storage space, it's also a way to bring in colors and textures. Lighting can also be added to shelving to create layered lighting effect

• Wallart is another way to brighten and beautify a black bathrom

Black is the color of choice for many who are remodeling their bathrooms: It gives bathrooms a sophiaticated bold look, that will have guest swooning over.
